About me
I am a full-stack developer who would like to work on meaningful projects, and help our society in many ways. I am interested in projects that are related to imaging, social impact, renewable energies, and social environment. If you think I can be helpful to you or would like to meet me, please feel free to get in touch.
Some history about me
I've always been interested by computers, since I was kid. My parents got themselves a PC when I was 6 years old and I spent most of the time playing Age of Empures, trying to figure out how a computer could beat me so easily! A year later, I discovered internet and online gaming, which was a huge discovery. My mom teached me how to download games with Torrent. It was 100% mind blowing.
At 12, I had my first proper subject on computer hardware and software which I aced, that was a very big deal for me because I wasn't doing so good in other subjects. By 16, I was already learning about system administration, networking and my first baby steps in programming. My teaches saw a lot of potential in me and encouraged me to keep going, which is something I always be very grateful for.
At 18, I tried switching to photography and filmmaking, but the course wasn't what I was looking for. I still learned a lot, especially about filming in parkour, which I was obsessed with at the time.
At 19, I went back to tech and started and advanced course in network system administration. I was on eof the top students and loved helping my classmates (most of them were my friends) understand tricky concepts as I already knew many of them from my previous courses. That's when my friends and teachers suggested and encouraged me to go for a Computer science degree, even though the one at my home town is known to be one of the toughest in Spain.
I spent a summer catching up on math, physics, and statistics before starting my degree at 21. It was very intense (10+ hours of studying everyday) but I managed to make it, and graduate in the top 10 of my class. I did also spend one year in Czech Republic doing an Erasmus+. I learned a lot about Machine Learning, NLP and algorithms. I made a huge amount of friends which I still miss today!
After graduating at 25, and not knowing what to do next, I moved to London to improve my English and landed my first web dev job at 3B Digital. I loved the team and the work and learned a lot about React, Next.js and front-end development.
At 27 I started working with We Are Access whom I'm very grateful for, as I learned a lot, had great colleagues and developed very interesting projects.
Now, at 30, I recently moved back to Spain and I'm still deep in web development, still curious, learning and solving new challenges, that's what keeps me going.
Ask me in person for other stories that I'm afraid to share with the internet!
